The Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies (ABAV) has opened registration for visitors who wish to participate in the 41st edition of ABAV – Tourism Fair of the Americas, which will be held from September 4 to 8 at the Anhembi Exhibit Hall (SP).
Those who wish to participate should log on to the event website and click Online Registration on the right side of the home page. After reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions, they should provide the information requested and follow the step-by-step registration through conclusion.
New for visitors this year is that all will be insured by Travel Ace Assistance, including foreign participants.
ABAV – Tourism Fair of the Americas is recognized as the largest tourism event in the region in terms of number of exhibitors and visitors. In this edition, the event will occupy an exhibit space of 58.2 thousand square meters with 11 training rooms in the Knowledge Village. With confirmed participation from more than 60 countries, the event expects more than 80 thousand among industry professionals and final consumers, in addition to more than 600 journalists from around the world.
“This year, the event seeks to offer exhibitors and visitors product and service sales, new business prospecting and closing, as well as training in various segments. Based on this strategy, the entity has confirmed more than 700 hosted buyers, including international companies headquartered in Brazil and abroad, especially Latin America, North America and Europe,” says Antonio Azevedo, ABAV president.

With the slogan “Your top business destination,” the 41st edition of ABAV – Tourism Fair of the Americas will be held from September 4 to 8, 2013 at the Anhembi Exhibit Hall, Latin America’s largest exhibit hall located in São Paulo, the top hub for tourism sales and reception in Brazil. Considered the biggest and best international event for the travel and tourism industry on the continent and in the Southern Hemisphere, ABAV 2013 will feature a total exhibit space of 58.2 thousand square meters.
