ABAV Expo introduces new destinations participating in event
Among the new international destinations participating in the 42nd ABAV International Tourism Expo, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, El Salvador, Slovenia, Morocco, and Mozambique have already confirmed their presence.
In all, 46 countries will have stands at the event, and so far Latin American destinations are the majority, followed by Europe, Africa, and Asia. “This shows the event has become, during its 42 editions, and international benchmark,” explains Leonel Rossi Junior, Foreign Affairs VP, ABAV. According to Rossi, Portugal, Argentina, and the United States are the countries that have participated the most times in the event.
He has also said that the event’s importance overseas also shows in registrations: professionals from over 400 destinations have already registered. “It is important to mention that this year we will count on the participation of representatives from 65 countries, and will allow for them to meet Brazilian travel agents and exhibitors, benefiting their interaction with the local tourism market and the development of the industry’s production chain as a whole,” Rossi added.
