The ABAV Expo - International Tourism is the largest and most important industry trade fair in the american continent and Southern Hemisphere. The event is organized by the National ABAV (Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies), consisting of 3,500 branches, responsible for about 80% of the sector´s drive.
With this differential, the entity ratifies the international reference condition conquered by the event, which contributes to representatives from over 65 countries to interact with the brazilian market, recognized as the seventh economy in the world.
From the growing importance of the fair globally, the ABAV Expo - International Tourism comes this year the 43rd edition from 24 to 26 September 2015, at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo (Brazil), the main center financial, corporate and commercial at South America.
By relying on high qualified participation rate of travel agents and other industry professionals, the most diverse niche markets, and the presence of 1,200 hosted buyers, the event annually brings together 3,500 exhibiting brands - including representatives from 65 countries - and in the last edition totaled visited by 42,000 professionals from all segments of the industry. With this movement, the event contributes decisively to the consolidation of business between companies from five continents, favoring thus the entire global supply chain sector.
Among the exhibitors will be present brazilian and foreign airlines; the most expressive tour operators of the national and international markets; cruise companies; companies in the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions); major media and national and international hosting network; car rental agencies, tourist facilities and technology solutions geared to the sector, as well as representations of destinations and official agencies of national and international tourism.
According to the "Public Profile Search and Event review" promoted independently by the Tourism Observatory and Events of the City of São Paulo (SPTuris), the ABAV Expo received the latest issue the approval of 78.51% of its participants as the fair that generates more business in Brazil, and 88.07% as the best option to perform networking. The profile of visitors (59% executives and managers, including 34% with final purchasing decision and 44% with influence in planning and recommendation) helps to understand the excellence of the results.
